1. More Than 200M Eggs Recalled Over Possible Salmonella Outbreak

There is a massive egg recall around the country due to a possible salmonella outbreak that has led to more than 20 people falling ill. 

More than 200 million eggs from Rose Acres Farm have been recalled from nine states including New Jersey and New York.

The latest recall comes on the heels of the CDC linking romaine lettuce with the most recent multi-state E. coli outbreak.

2. Bon Jovi Reunites to Enter Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

It was quite a weekend for one of New Jersey's very own. 

Not only did New Jersey Gov. Phil Murphy declare last Saturday Bon Jovi Day,  but the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. 

The Hall of Fame ceremony brought the original line up together after decades cementing their legacy among other music greats.

3. NYC's Biggest Infrastructure Project Will Cost Almost $1 Billion More Than Expected

It turns out that New York City's biggest infrastructure project will cost one billion dollars more than expected. 

The new mega price of $11 million for the East Side Access Megaproject comes because of Amtrak construction obstacles. 

The project that will link Long Island Rail Road trains to Grand Central Terminal by 2022 is actually one of the largest transportation projects underway in the entire country.
