1. 2 Dead in School Bus, Dump Truck Crash in NJ

A school field trip turned tragic Thursday on Route 80 in New Jersey.

A student and a teacher were both killed when their school bus collided with a dump truck and everybody else on board was hurt. Officials say the bus was part of a fifth-grade class trip to Waterloo Village in Stanhope. 

Sources say, citing DOT video, that the bus may have missed an exit and attempted a U-turn in the center median.

2. Royal Wedding Draws Closer

The Royal Wedding is just a day away!

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will get married at Windsor Castle's St. George's Chapel on Saturday. 

Markle said Thursday that her father won't attend the wedding because of health complications.

3. Architect Designing New Star for Rockefeller Christmas Tree

Christmas in Rockefeller Center will look a little different this year. 

That's because Swarovski is redesigning the star that goes on top of the tree for the time since 2004. 

The new star is designed by the master planner of the new World Trade Center complex and will be inspired by the cosmos.
