1. Notorious Menace to Taylor Swift's NYC Home Strikes Again
The same man sentenced last month for breaking into Taylor Swift's Tribeca townhouse to take a nap was nabbed again after he allegedly used a concrete block to smash a glass patio door and ransacked her place, cops say.
Roger Alvarado, of Florida, allegedly climbed a ladder outside Swift's Franklin Street digs, used the block to smash the door and went inside.
Police say Alvarado ransacked the place; a computer was found by the door.

2. Why People Are Tossing Their Shoes for Viral #VansChallenge
What goes up must come down -- and land upright, apparently, if it's a Vans shoe.
The latest viral internet challenge has people all over the world throwing their Vans shoes in the air and filming them as they come back down to Earth, all to test a theory.
It all started on Saturday, when Twitter user @Ibelievthehype posted a video to Twitter of her chucking her checkered Vans in the air, saying "Did you know it doesn’t matter how you throw your Vans they will land facing up?"

3. Notorious YouTuber Embroiled in NYC War Memorial Controversy
A plea to subscribe to a YouTuber known for making controversial and racist comments has been repeatedly scrawled on the World War II memorial in Brooklyn’s Cadman Plaza, photos show.
The chalked vandalism reads “Subscribe to PewDiePie,” which has become somewhat of an online mantra in the past year for fans of a particular YouTube vlogger.
The saying comes from what known as the “Great Subscriber War,” in which Felix Kjellberg, aka PewDiePie, continues to rally his fans to defend his spot as the most-subscribed-to channel on YouTube.
