1. Support the Jimmy Fund With Scooper Bowl Ice Cream Festival

I scream. You scream. We're all screaming for ice cream thanks to the Scooper Bowl. 

This weekend Bryant Park will be hosting the second annual Scooper Bowl ice cream festival where you can taste some of the biggest names the chilly treats have to offer. 

The event benefits the Jimmy Fund, which supports pediatric and adult cancer care and research.

2. Washington Square Art Exhibit Is This Weekend

Do you love art? Head over and enjoy the great work that will be on full display at the Washington Square Park outdoor art exhibit this weekend. 

The outdoor exhibit will give visitors the chance to not only see one-of-a-kind crafts, jewelry and art work, but also the opportunity to purchase them.

3. Governors Ball Continues Its Rocking This Weekend

The famous Governors Ball continues rocking on this weekend on Randall's Island Park. 

Every year the three-day music festival includes a-list headliners and up-and-coming buzz-worthy artists. This year Jack White, Halsey, Eminem and many others are part of the line up. 

Tickets may be hard to come by last minute, but you can live stream the event online.

4. Craft Beer Festival Is This Weekend in Brooklyn 

If art isn't your style, head on down to a craft beer festival. 

The Five Points Festival at the Brooklyn Expo Center is a weekend-long feast combining the eclectic worlds of toys, art, counterculture and craft beer. 

Tickets are needed, but those younger than six get in for free.
