1. Majority of NYC Public Housing Playgrounds Not Maintained: Audit

If you are planning to visit a New York City playground, you may want to think twice. 

It turns out 70 percent of public playgrounds managed by the housing authority haven't been properly maintained. A city audit found jagged edges on slides and detached ladders among other dangers. 

But the worst of it? Some playground inspection reports were left blank or altered and some were never even done.

2. LinkNYC Kiosks to Show Bus Arrivial Time Info

Attention New York City bus commuters. Tracking your transportation is about to get much easier. 

A pilot program is set to kick off that will show commuters when the next bus will arrive thanks to the colorful LinkNYC kiosks we see all over the place. Bus info will launch first in Brooklyn. 

Commuters can now get free WiFi, subway, bus info, and New York City fun facts all while standing on the street corner.

3. 8-Year Plan to Put an End to Train Pain

How long do you think it will take to end the train pain and have a fully modernized subway system in New York City?

Well, according to Gov. Cuomo, it's eight years.
