A shed sitting on a yard in Edison, N.J. exploded when lightning struck it Thursday evening.

The shed was storing paint and propane tanks, and it exploded upon lightning impact, firefighters said.

The structure disintegrated, and burned the side of the house facing it. 

No one was hurt.
