A body was found inside a burning car in Jones Beach State Park, park officials said Saturday.
The vehicle fire was reported just before 5 p.m. Friday in field five, parks officials said. As the fire was put out, police found a body inside, officials said.
An investigation is continuing.
Also Friday, two bodies were found burned beyond recognition in an Audi in Paterson, New Jersey.
