The suspect is wanted for two rapes and an attempted rape in Jamaica, Queens

Disturbing surveillance video of a man threatening a woman in Queens before he attempted to rape her has been released by police, part of a search for the alleged serial rapist.

Police said the man seen in the video is wanted for two rapes and an attempted rape in Jamaica, Queens.

On Oct. 13, the suspect grabbed a 20-year-old woman from behind in the area of Merrick Boulevard, forced her behind a dumpster and raped her, police said. The incident happened at about 3 a.m.

On Nov. 15, at about 1 a.m., the suspect approached a 27-year-old woman in the area of 142nd Street, threatened her with a gun and raped her, police said.

In the latest attack on Wednesday, the suspect approached a woman at about 2 a.m. in the area of 154th Street, placed a sharp object to her back, pulled her behind a home and attempted to rape her, police said.

He was wearing a black pullover hooded sweatshirt and a white-and-blue striped scarf at the time of the attack, according to police. The surveillance video released Thursday shows the suspect approaching the victim.
