The NYPD is investigating the death of a 6-month-old girl in Queens.
Police say they responded to a 911 call of an unconscious baby at a home on Queens Boulevard in Rego Park shortly before 10:30 p.m. Monday.
They found the child unresponsive. The infant was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital.
Police confirmed she was not in the care of her mother when she died, but say the death is not believed to be suspicious.
The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
