More NJ Transit Lines to Resume Monday

Agency officials announced Saturday night that limited service will be restored Monday morning on the Bergen and Pascack Valley lines

New Jersey Transit says more commuter rail lines will soon resume operations.

Agency officials announced Saturday night that limited service will be restored Monday morning on the Bergen and Pascack Valley lines. Also being restored Monday is limited service from High Bridge to Newark on the Raritan Valley Line.

NJ Transit also says a new discounted ferry service will start service on Monday.

Operated by New York Waterway, it will run from Hoboken Terminal to Pier 79 on West 39th Street in midtown Manhattan. Officials say that should help alleviate some congestion at the Port Authority Bus terminal in New York and give customers traveling to Manhattan additional travel options.

Customers using this ferry service will be able to use free shuttle buses for further travel within Manhattan.
