Police said human remains were discovered wrapped in a black plastic bag inside a box across the street from a Brooklyn park.
Police said a 911 call about a suspicious package led to the discovery of the box about 9:47 p.m. Tuesday in front of a residence on Washington Park on the east side of Fort Greene Park.
The city's medical examiner will determine the gender, age and ethnicity of the remains.
