Long Island Hot Dog Vendor Arrested Again for Prostitution

Suffolk County police say Catherine Scalia offered to perform a sexual act on an undercover officer in exchange for money

A Long Island woman has once again been accused of selling her body along with hot dogs out of a truck.

Catherine Scalia was arrested Friday after police say she allegedly offered to engage in a sexual act with an undercover officer she was giving a massage to in an East Garden City hotel. Police say she had driven to the hotel in her hot dog truck.

The 47-year-old was in the news last year, when she was arrested and charged with prostituting out of the truck.

Information on an attorney for Scalia, who was set to be arraigned Saturday in Hempstead, was not immediately available.
