Authorities say they are investigating after a 51-year-old man was found shot to death inside an apartment in Hoboken Monday morning.
Police responded to calls about a man in cardiac arrest at about 1 a.m. and found the 51-year-old inside an apartment on Grand Street with a single gunshot wound to his chest, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office.
He was pronounced dead not long after authorities arrived.
It's not clear if the man's gunshot wounds were self-inflicted or if he was the victim of a homicide.
Medical examiners are expected to determine how the man died.
