Heat Warning Issued for Parts of NJ

Summertime and the living is sticky across New Jersey.

Forecasters are predicting one last day of unusually warm weather around the Garden State Thursday.

The National Weather Service says this is the last day temperatures in the 90s will combine with humidity to make it feel like 100 degrees in the cities.

An excessive heat warning remains in effect until 8 p.m. for Mercer, Gloucester, Camden and northwest Burlington counties.

Forecasters say a cold front may provide some relief in the form of showers and thunderstorms.

Drier and slightly cooler air is expected across the region on Friday and Saturday.
