A 42-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly sneaking up behind a woman while armed with a hatchet, dragging her to the ground and running off with her bag earlier this month.
Police say the man walked up to the 23-year-old woman near Woodside and Roosevelt avenues in Queens late Saturday Oct. 1 and attacked her.
He ran away with her property.
The man faces charges of robbery, grand larceny and menacing.
