1 Dead, 4 Wounded in Shooting on Manhattan Street Corner

Authorities say one person was killed and four others were wounded in a shooting in upper Manhattan late Sunday.

Police say 28-year-old Graham Shadale was pronounced dead at the scene of the Hamilton Heights shooting at Broadway and West 136th Street. He had been shot in the head.

The other four victims -- two 21-year-old women who had been shot in the shoulder, a 24-year-old man shot in the right arm and ankle and a 22-year-old man shot in the torso and leg -- were taken to the hospital in stable condition and are expected to survive.

Detectives were seen Monday digging through snow on an unplowed street looking for shell casings.

A motive for the shooting remains unclear. Police say there have been no arrests.
