    Among the list of the most iconic vehicles in movies, James Bond's car sits near the very top with the likes of the DeLorean of "Back to the Future" and Ecto-1 of "Ghostbusters."

    Fans of the British spy franchise will have the opportunity to get up close to Bond's 1965 Aston Martin DB5 throughout July at Sotheby's New York before it goes on sale for an estimate of $4-6 million.

    The auction house, located on York Avenue and 71st Street, dubbed the vehicle as "The Most Famous Car in the World." It is fitted with fancy Bond gadgets including a machine gun in each fender, smoke screen dispensers and a passenger seat ejection system, all of which are functioning.

    The vehicle previously had three owners and it will be seeking a new owner on Aug. 15 at Sotheby's Monterey in California when it goes up for sale.
