All New York-bound lanes on the upper level of the George Washington Bridge were shut down for a time during the evening rush hour Tuesday after a crash.
A jack-knifed tractor trailer caused the backup.
The lanes were reopened by about 5:30 p.m., but drivers were warned to expect delays.
