WATCH: Robber on Beer Run Jumps Gas Station Counter, Roughs Up Clerk

Police are looking for a suspect who walked up to the front counter of a gas station convenience store in Brooklyn with a six pack of beer, jumped over the counter and forced the clerk to open the cash register, then ran off with his fists full of cash.

Authorities say the suspect went into the BP Gas Station on Flushing Avenue around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Surveillance video shows him walk into the store and head to the refrigerated section, where he pulls out the beer and then heads to the front counter.

The video then shows the suspect climb over the counter, knocking merchandise to the floor, and drag the clerk to the register.

The clerk opens the register and backs away; the suspect grabs two handfuls of cash and climbs back over the counter.

It's not clear how much money the suspect stole.

Anyone with information about  the robbery is asked to call police.
