More than a dozen shoppers and employees were sickened by fumes at a New Jersey strip mall Sunday night and a hazmat crew from a local fire department was summoned to the location, authorities said.
At least 14 people were being treated for respiratory problems at the scene, a strip mall on Mill Creek Drive in Secaucus, police said.
A hazardous materials unit from the Jersey City Fire Department was dispatched to the mall.
