Free Help for NJ Smokers Who Want to Quit

The New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services has expanded and extended its free nicotine replacement therapy program.

NJDHSS is continuing to offer smoking patches or nicotine replacement gum to any New Jersey smoker over 18 years old through the week of June 27, or while supplies last.

To enroll, smokers should call the New Jersey Quitline at 866-NJSTOPS. Participants will receive an eight-week supply of free NRT and up to five free counseling sessions with a quit-smoking coach.
