Four People Charged With Selling Heroin in Suffolk County

Four people were arrested in two heroin-related incidents in Copiague, Long Island, authorities said.

On May 30, Randall L. Robinson, 31, and Lilliana M. Vasquez, 27, were allegedly trying to sell heroin in the parking lot of Rite Aid on Merrick Road, police said. Vasquez was driving a 2003 Mercedes Benz with Robinson as the passenger, police said. In the rear of the car was Vasquez’s 21-month-old child.

In a separate case on Tuesday, Robert P. Evanson, 30, and Kevin Forrester, 29, allegedly possessed and attempted to sell heroin on Meucci Avenue.  Evanson was the driver of a 2015 Nissan Altima, with Forrester in it, police said. A plastic bag containing heroin was recovered from the center console, police said.

Robinson was charged with possessing and selling a controlled substance. Both Robinson and Vasquez were charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

Evanson and Forrester were each charged with criminal possession and criminal sale of a controlled substance. Both defendants were arraigned on Wednesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
