A Delta flight scheduled to land at LaGuardia Airport Monday night was diverted to Buffalo because of the winter weather affecting the tri-state, authorities said.
The flight took off from Atlanta at about 4:45 p.m. and was expected to land at LaGuardia at about 6:30 p.m., authorities said.
It was diverted to Buffalo, where it will stay until about 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
"The continuation of the flight from Buffalo to LaGuardia is scheduled for noon today following mandatory crew member rest requirements," Delta said in a statement.
