Fledgling Rapper's Burned Body Found in Parked SUV

Bergen County authorities say the badly burned body of a fledgling New York City rapper has been found in a sport utility vehicle parked on a Paramus street.

But they don't believe that Rhian H. Stoute was killed at the site where his body was found early Tuesday.

County Prosecutor John Molinelli says the death of the 33-year-old Brooklyn resident — who performed under the name Kampane — will be investigated as a homicide. He said Stoute's body had been burned in several areas, but did not disclose further details and said a cause of death had not yet been determined.

Police found Stoute's body in the SUV's rear cargo area. But Molinelli would not disclose further details on the incident, including what led authorities to the vehicle.
