Police say they're looking for an attempted rape suspect who allegedly grabbed a woman as she was coming out of the bathroom at a Manhattan bar and choked her until she passed out.

The 34-year-old victim was walking out of the bathroom at the Flaming Saddles Bar in Hell's Kitchen at about 10:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 3 when the suspect accosted her and choked her until she lost consciousness, police said.

He then threw her to the ground and took off her underwear, police said. A security worker walked in on him, and that's when the suspect ran away.

The suspect is described as being about 35 to 45 years old, about 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 4 inches in height and 135 to 155 pounds, with dreadlocks.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS.
