Facebook, Fans Root for Disgruntled Flight Attendant

Meet Four Inspiring Kids Tackling Cancer
Steven Slater had enough...and apparently a lot of people have had the same fantasy.

Facebook pages have been set up in tribute to a flight attendant who has landed in hot water.

Steven Slater cursed at a passenger who accidentally hit him on the head with luggage, police said. They say Slater grabbed beer from the galley, then used an emergency exit slide to get off a JetBlue plane at Kennedy Airport in New York City on Monday.

He's charged with criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and trespassing.

A Facebook page in his support of Slater is supported by pages like "Quitting your crappy job" and is peppered with messages of support that like "good luck Steven, good job!" and "why didn't you grab the minis!"

Passenger Philip Catelinet talked about the incident Tuesday on NBC's Today show. Catelinet says he saw Slater on an airport train afterward, smiling and looking happy and relieved.

The passenger says everybody fantasizes about ``telling your boss to take this job and shove it.'' But he's not sure Slater thought it through all that well.
