FabFridays Discount Theater Booth Opens This Week

The Lower East Side will kick off its own Off-Off-Broadway version of TKTS on Friday with the launch of the FAB Fridays booth with tickets from $9.

This week you can expect to find a limited number of tickets to the following performances:

-- "The System" presented by LaMaMa Etc. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. $10

-- "White Elephant" presented by LaMaMa Etc. on Friday, Saturday and Wednesday. $10.

-- "Tartuffe" presented by The Pearl Theater on Saturday and Sunday.

-- "Way to Heaven" presented by Teatro Circulo on May 8, 9 and 10. $9

The booth -- located at 61 East 4th Street -- will only open from 5 to 7 p.m. on Fridays.

The new discount booth promotes groups in the East 4th Street Cultural District, which also includes the Millennium Film Workshop, New York Theatre Workshop, WOW Café Theatre and Teatro IATI.
