FEMA Provides Aid to Flood-Ravaged Vicitms in New Jersey

FEMA is providing help to storm victims across New Jersey who desperately need help to repair their flood damaged homes and property.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency is urging residents in 12 New Jersey counties to register for assistance as soon as possible.

Aid is available for individuals in Atlantic, Bergen, Cape May, Essex, Gloucester, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Passaic, Somerset and Union Counties.

Residents who suffered damages from the severe storms and flooding that began on March 12 should call 1-800-621-FEMA.

Assistance will come in the form of grants for temporary housing and home repairs, low-interest loans to cover uninsured property losses and programs designed to help business owners to recover.
