FAA Employee Found With Gun, Crystal Meth in Long Island Traffic Stop: Police

Police on Long Island say a Federal Aviation Administration employee was arrested with two loaded guns and crystal methamphetamine.

Fifty-two-year-old Breen Peck, of Redkey, Indiana, was arrested Wednesday on weapons and drug possession charges.

Nassau County police say he was pulled him over shortly before 10:30 p.m. in Wantagh and told an officer he had two loaded guns in the car. Authorities say he also had crystal methamphetamine in his pants pocket. Court records say Peck told the officer he smokes the drug to stay awake.

The FAA says Peck is not an air traffic controller and works in the facility training program at TRACON, which controls flights into and out of New York airports.

His attorney didn't immediately return a message seeking comment.
