A fast-moving fire at a northern New Jersey home killed two people, officials said. 

Robert and Cynthia Dundermen, ages 78 and 75, died in the fire in East Hanover on Friday evening, Morris County prosecutors said. 

The fire began in the living room and the deaths were ruled accidental, prosecutors said. 

Authorities say the home was engulfed in flames when police and firefighters arrived a short time later. One officer kicked in the front door in a bid to gain entry but was immediately pushed back by the flames.
