E Trains Won't Run Overnight in Parts of Queens for 1 Week

E trains will not stop at subway stations between Jamaica Center and Briarwood in Queens on weeknights for the next week.

FASTRACK, the subway maintenance, cleaning and repair program, will shut down E service from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. on from Nov. 2 to Nov. 6.

E trains between the World Trade Center and Briarwood will be rerouted on the F line to and from Jamaica Center/179th Street.

Free shuttle buses will operate between Jamaica Center and Union Turnpike, stopping at Sutphin Boulevard-Archer Avenues, Jamaica-Van Wyck and Briarwood. Transfer between E trains and the free shuttle buses will be available at Union Turnpike and Briarwood.

For additional connections between Manhattan and Jamaica Center, commuters can transfer from the A or J at Broadway Junction. The A connects with the JFK AirTrain at Howard Beach.
