A truck driver has been arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run accident in Manhattan.
Jack Montelbano of Bayonne, N.J., is charged with leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. It wasn't known if he had an attorney.
Police say the 47-year-old driver was making a right turn from Ninth Avenue onto West 41st Street when the accident occurred around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
The 69-year-old Manhattan woman — identified as Shu Ying Liu — was pronounced dead at a hospital.
