Police say they are looking for the driver of a hit-and-run accident that killed a 64-year-old pedestrian early Sunday morning on Long Island.
Lorenzo Fuentes was walking along Motor Parkway at Highland Road in Central Islip when he was struck by a silver, late-model Dodge or Chrysler that sped from the scene, Suffolk County police say.
The Central Islip resident was pronounced dead at the scene.
Anyone with information about the hit-and-run is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
