Netting from a construction site in Hoboken became tangled in power lines Saturday, causing a black-out for about 2,200 customers for a few hours.
The tangled lines ignited and fell at about 6:30 p.m. at Madison and 7th streets, according to a PSE&G spokesperson.
Utility workers suspect that wind-blow debris caused the netting to make contact with the power lines.
Power was restored to all but five customers by 10 p.m.
