Police have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of two men on Staten Island.

Police say 27-year-old Darren Brown was arrested Wednesday on charges of murder, attempted robbery and criminal possession of a weapon. It wasn't clear if the Staten Island man had a lawyer.

The men, 34-year-old Kendrick Gray and 41-year-old Noland Whistleton, were shot Tuesday evening at 140 Park Hill Ave. in Park Hill. Gray had a gunshot wound to the head and Whistleton had gunshot wounds to the torso and legs, police say.

Both Staten Island men were pronounced dead at the hospital.
