Dorms at Pace University's Pleasantville Campus Evacuated Due to Gas Shut Down

All residence halls at Pace University’s Pleasantville campus were evacuated Wednesday evening due to a gas leak, school officials said.

The school says the gas was shut down by Con Edison, leaving some campus buildings without heat overnight. By 4 a.m., the power was restored at two buildings and four remained without power.

Food services, transportation and school events will be impacted by the gas shut down. Classes will continue as scheduled.

Students were being accommodated at the Briarcliff Campus and the Wilcox Hall Gym. For more information on relocation and food accomodations, click here
