Doggy Day Care Plans Services for Some Luxury Residential Buildings: Report

Doggy day care chain The Spot Experience is planning to launch high-end dog care service in 56 luxury residential buildings in the city

There have long been places for pooches to get pampered in New York City, but doting dog owners could soon find concierge services for their pups very close to home.

Doggy day care chain The Spot Experience is planning to launch high-end dog care service in 56 luxury residential buildings in the city, DNAInfo is reporting.

The chain's owner, former NFL player and hedge fund manager Mitch Marrow, tells the website his company has signed a deal to provide concierge dog services for Rose Associates Management and for Millenium Tower, the 368-unit high-rise building on West 67th Street.

The Spot Experience has become known for offering clients an option to watch their pets around the clock on a high-end surveillance camera while they are in their care. Owners can log in online or on their smart phone to view what becomes their own puppy cam.

“We have people who tell me that their work life is going down the tubes because they have the dogs up all the time," Marrow told DNAInfo.

Details of the doggy concierge service were not immediately available.
