A car and a small school bus carrying several teenagers crashed on Long Island Wednesday afternoon.
The crash was reported at Deer Park Avenue and Vanderbilt Parkway in Dix Hills at about 3:30 p.m., according to authorities.
A witness on the scene said there were teenage students on the bus but only the bus driver was transported by paramedics from the scene.
The bus did not seem to have much damage; the car sustained some front-end damage.
The bus was pulled over into a nearby parking lot near the scene to be examined.
