Customers on New Jersey Transit's Atlantic City Rail Line still don't know when service will resume after a four-month suspension for safety upgrades.
They will be able to continue saving money on tickets.
NJ Transit announced Wednesday it's extending a 25 percent discount through January for tickets that can be used on regional bus and rail lines.
The line runs from Philadelphia to Atlantic City and caters mostly to casino workers and gamblers.
NJ Transit took the line out of service in September to install positive train control, a federally mandated emergency braking system that is being installed on all 11 NJ Transit lines.
This week the agency announced it has completed installation. A spokeswoman says tests are ongoing and federal approval is needed before the line can resume operation.
