A video posted online shows a woman being dragged during an argument and the dramatic scene that played out once she let go along the side of a Delaware roadway.

The 12-minute long video -- shot from another vehicle -- begins with two women standing outside a car at the BP gas station at 2360 Pulaski Highway (U.S. Route 40) in Newark around 1 p.m. Monday, said Delaware State Police.

Mykia "Tia" Lee, a mother of two from Wilmington, told NBC10 in an exclusive interview that she was arguing with her friend Aiun-Yea Chambers, also of Wilmington, as well as another person.

"They just flipped on me," Lee said. "Me and her got into a fight. They were trying to leave me and I wasn't going for that."

Police say Chambers then drove off in her car as Lee was hanging out of the open passenger side door.

"I didn't know what to do, I was just shocked," Lee said. "I had her hair and she's pushing me down to get dragged."

The video shows the car turning onto northbound South College Avenue (state Route 896) from Route 40. Lee told NBC10 the more she was being pushed out of the car the harder she held on until the vehicle finally slowed down and pulled over. The video then shows Lee walking over to the trailing car asking for help.

“I swear to God, please call the cops, please,” she tells the person recording the video before collapsing beside the trailing car while holding her scraped leg.

WARNING: The video below contains profane language and could be disturbing to some viewers.

Lee appears to be frantic in the video -- occasionally talking on her cellphone -- as she tries to explain what happened to her.

“She’s trying to kill me, I’m holding onto the car while she keeps driving,” she says.

Other onlookers can be seen talking to 911 as Lee occasionally writhes in pain on the side of the road.

“I can’t move,” she screams.

After a few minutes, the video cuts to a man responding to the scene and helping Lee. Later, the video cuts again to medics arriving and loading Lee onto a stretcher before putting her in a waiting ambulance bound for Christiana Hospital. Lee was treated at the hospital for minor injuries, said investigators.

Lee told NBC10 Monday night she was scared for her life during the entire ordeal.

"I thought that I was never going to come home to my kids and I thought I was going to die," she said.

Lee also says she wants Chambers and her passenger, who police have not yet identified, to pay.

"I just want them to go to jail," she said. "i think they almost took my life away."

Delaware State Police asked anyone with information on the incident to call 302-365-8505. They also plan to turn the case over to the Attorney General's Office for a review for possible criminal charges.
