Police are investigating the death of a 21-year-old man in a dorm room on the campus of Fairleigh Dickinson University in Florham Park, N.J. Wednesday.
The man was not a student, college officials said.
The man, who has not been identified, was visiting a friend who was a student at the university, authorities said. He stayed overnight at the friend's dorm room, and when the friend returned from class at about 3 p.m., was found responsive.
The victim was transported to Morristown Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Morris County prosecutor's office said the death was under investigation, but preliminary assessment did not suggest foul play.
