Police are looking for help identifying a woman found floating dead in the East River in the Bronx Tuesday.
The woman was fully clothed and she had trauma to the face, police said. Her body was recovered in the river at Clason Point at about 9 a.m., after someone spotted it and called 911.
The woman is described as being about 60 years old, and around 5 feet 2 inches and 120 pounds. She was wearing a black shirt with long sleeves, black pants and multicolored sneakers.
Police have released photos of the jewelry she was wearing in the hope someone may recognize them.
The medical examiner will determine how she died.
