A 51-year-old man was found dead on a beach in the Rockaways Wednesday, authorities say.
Cops responding to a 911 call around 8:15 a.m. found the unidentified man unconscious at Jacob Riis Park. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It wasn't clear if there were any obvious signs of trauma. The medical examiner's office will conduct an autopsy to determine how he died.
