A national trade association comprised of licensed alarm installers, contractors and other relevant groups across the country has just put out its annual list of the Top 100 Most Dangerous Cities in America for 2018. Eleven tri-state cities earned the dubious honor of making this year's ranking -- and most of them were in New Jersey. Here are the 11 local cities and their respective rankings, in reverse order, on the National Council for Home Safety and Security's list for this year. The rankings are based on average violent crime per 1,000 people. See the full list, along with more methodology details and other breakdowns, here.
