Cuomo: Yankees Will Honor Free Ticket Vouchers

New York Attorney General Andrew Cuomo says the Yankees have agreed to honor ticket vouchers the team gave to fans who donated to the Yankees' food drive.

Cuomo's office says fans complained that the Yankees organization had broken its promise to honor vouchers for two free tickets to a home game to anyone who donated $25 or 25 pounds of food to the Yankees/Goya Holiday Food Drive in December.

Cuomo says fans now can redeem their vouchers through Sept. 30 at the Yankee Stadium ticket office for any home game scheduled to take place Monday through Friday during the remainder of the 2009 season.

The vouchers, however, can't be used to attend premium games.
