A man was killed in a hit-and-run early Sunday on the Cross Bronx Expressway, police said.
The victim, whose identity wasn't released, was struck by an unknown number of vehicles, none of which remained at the scene, the NYPD said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
He had been walking on the northbound lanes between the Castle Hille Avenue and White Plains Road exits when he was struck, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
