3 Hurt After Crash Involving Overturned Ambulance in Brooklyn

Authorities say three people have been injured -- one critically -- in a crash that left an ambulance overturned in Brooklyn.

Fire officials say the ambulance and a second vehicle crashed 10:55 a.m. Thursday at Linden Boulevard and Pennsylvania Avenue in East New York.

It's not clear what caused the crash.

The FDNY says one person was transported in critical condition, one was serious but stable and the third suffered minor injuries. Two of the victims were from the ambulance, and the third was from the second vehicle, the NYPD says.

The ambulance wasn't carrying any patients at the time.
