A Westchester family had a close encounter with a coyote that wandered into the backyard with its dinner in tow.
Family members shot cell phone video of the wild canine last weekend as it wandered into the backyard of their home near Preserve Court in Greenburgh.
The coyote appears to have a groundhog in its mouth, fresh from the hunt.
Police say no one else has reported seeing the coyote.
