A city employee was arrested Wednesday on grand larceny charges, police say.
Simone Smith, a 35-year-old correction employee, was arrested just before 8 p.m. in Bedford-Stuyvesant, the NYPD said.
She was charged with two counts of grand larceny and three counts of criminal possession of stolen property. The circumstances of her arrest were unknown.
It wasn’t immediately clear if she had an attorney.
