Acting police Chief Thomas Wuennemann says officers responded to a home in Stamford late Tuesday for a report of a domestic dispute between a mother and her son.
By the time officers arrived, the man had fled. He was apprehended early Wednesday and faced domestic violence related charges.
At police headquarters the man had a medical emergency. He was taken to the hospital where he died.
His name hasn’t been released.
